PropelHer at 10: A Decade of Championing Women in Aircraft Leasing
We’re still on a high after PropelHer at 10: A Decade of Championing Women in Aircraft Leasing—one of our biggest events to date, held during Airline Economics Week. With 350 attendees in the room, it was an energising reminder of what’s possible when the industry comes together with intent, openness, and real momentum.
First and foremost: thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate a milestone moment for PropelHer. Ten years on from our early beginnings, the community has grown in scale and strength, and the evening really underlined our transformational journey from grassroots organisation to fully-fledged, supportive association.
We’re also hugely grateful to our brilliant panel—Andrea Wilson, Ciara Mitchell, Fiona Scott, Lisa Lyons, and Marie-Aude Gagnon Rousseau—for sharing their experiences with such honesty, expertly led by Aircastle CEO, Michael Inglese. Their insights and personal stories were a highlight of the night, and a powerful reflection of the talent across our community. A massive thank you to our incredible keynote speaker, Vernā Myers, for bringing such energy, enthusiasm, and perspective.
We’re deeply grateful to our sponsors, Aircastle and Air Canada, whose support helped make the evening possible.
We were also proud to be featured by Business Post in an article highlighting the work being done, and the work still ahead, on gender parity in aviation, with thanks to Emma Hanrahan for covering the story.
Thank you again for celebrating with us. Here’s to the next ten.
